Bhubing Palace: Bhubing Palace is located on Buag Ha Mountain,
Hang Dong District in Chiang Mai Province. It was built in 1959,
according to His Majesty the King's Wishes to serve both as a
reception locale for foreign guests and also as a royal residence.
Reflecting Thai style architecture, it is built mainly with rocks and
cement. This palace was first used to receive King Frederic the 9th
and Queen Ingrid of Denmark in 1962. It is now the royal
residence of Their Majesties when they go for a rest in the cool
season.
